Getting Started – For Everyone

Welcome to Seegad, an awesome solution for showcasing your productivity and performance.

After you complete the registration process, you will notice you are taken to a page similar to this one.

This page is your personal page (which is why we call it “Mine”), and you use it to manage your personal activities. The page is divided into 3 sections.

The first section displays your personal metrics for the week, and it contains useful indicators of your progress. You will need to keep an eye on your “Utilization” as it indicates how well you make use of your time.

The second section is a one-line form asking “What are you working on?”.

Ideally, every morning before you start your day; you should tell Seegad what you intend to achieve for the day; it is much easier to keep track of your productivity that way.

However nothing stops you from going in at any time of the day to update Seegad with your activities.

If you do not find an engagement you are working on in the “Select Engagement” list, get in touch with your manager to create the engagement, so you can record you activities against it. If you have manager access, then you can create one yourself.

The third section is the main section and it contains all the tasks you are supposed to complete. You can add more tasks to this list using the form above (section 2).

As you can see, the tasks are split into tabs – Today, This Week, Later, Completed and Overdue.

In Today tab; you should see the tasks that are supposed to be done today, on this tab, you will also notice some of the tasks are starred, this indicates priority; a starred task is one you should absolutely start today; and anyone could star your task, but, this is likely to be done by your manager to indicate priority.

In this week; you should find tasks that are schedule for the current week, in Later; you will find tasks that should start much later, you do this for tasks, that have no urgency.

The two other tabs are self-explanatory; Completed shows you all the tasks you have completed while Overdue displays all your tasks that are due.

By now you should have a basic understanding of what Seegad is all about. Please follow the next steps to learn how to log your time and complete a task. You can also check other sections of the help portal to learn more advanced features.
